Canadian singer-songwriter Shania Twain announced her sixth studio album “Queen of Me”, which will be released on February 3, 2023 via Republic Nashville.
It is her first album in six years since the 2017 album “Now”.
“These days, I'm feeling very comfortable in my own skin – and I think this album reflects that musically,” Shania Twain said. “Life is short and I want to be uplifted, colorful, unapologetic and empowered. I want to carry a clear message, particularly as a woman, to always remember my power and I hope the songs are a reminder to you, of that same power inside you!”
From the album, she unveiled a new song “Last Day Of Summer” on October 28, 2022.
It is the third single off of the album, following “Waking Up Dreaming” and “Not Just A Girl”.
The track was written by Shania Twain, Mark Ralph, and Jack Savoretti. Produced by Mark Ralph.- Also, she embarks on Queen of Me Tour in 2023. The tour kicks off at Spokane Arena in Spokane, WA on April 23, 2023 and will wrap up at Utilita Arena Birmingham in Birmingham, UK on September 26, 2023, with a total of 49 shows.
