Los Angeles-based alt-rock band happy to be here, consisting of Greyson Grimes (vocals/guitar) and James Hamilton (guitar), released their sophomore EP “Feel” on October 21, 2022.
The EP comprises 5-track, written by Greyson Grimes and James Hamilton, produced by Mikal Blue and Dean Dinning.
The arrangements highlight essential elements, framing Greyson Grimes' poignant voice with evocative keyboards and layered guitars floating above the fire of a rock solid rhythm section.
The EP delivers potent perspectives on life, love, and the emancipation of casting off the chains of addiction.
Both Greyson Grimes and James Hamilton exemplify a hard-won sobriety. The band said of the EP, “Every song we're recorded has deep elements of heartbreak, trauma, drums, alcohol, recovery, broken homes and abuse.”
