Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Syd Carter West released a new song “Moonshine” on July 28, 2022.
The song is the second single of 2022, following “Venom Hurts” released back in February.
The track features a blues-rock vibe with dynamic instrumentals, accompanied by powerful, yet smooth vocals.
It was written by Syd Carter West with instrumentals and production by John Ellis.
“The fear of disappointing others, feeling alienating and judged is something I still live with daily, so I wanted to write a song that reminds me of what joy, empowerment, and unapologetic openness feels like,” Syd Carter West said of the song. “I’m finally allowing myself to be the badass, edgy and wild rocker I’m meant to be, and to quote my song: ‘Feel the burn - but be inspired...
