Liam Gallagher Releases New Song “Better Days”
British singe-songwriter Liam Gallagher has shared a new song “Better Days” along with a music video.
The song will appear on his upcoming third solo studio album “C'mon You Know”.
It was written by Andrew Wyatt, Gustav Weber Vernet, Liam Gallagher, Michael Tighe and Tove Lo.
The track interpolates Tove Lo's heartbroken “bad days” and features Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner. Produced by Andrew Wyatt and Greg Kurstin.
The video was directed by Paul Dugdale. In the clip, Liam Gallagher and his band playing the song atop Manchester's Midland Hotel.
Liam Gallagher said of the song, “'Better Days' is the sound of the summer.”
All UK proceeds from the song will go to War Child for the rest of this year. “We could not be more grateful to Liam for his incredible, continued support for the charity,” Rich Clarke, Head of War Child Records, said in a statement.
The new album is set to be released on May 27, 2022.
“Some of it's odd,” Liam Gallagher told Apple Music. “I'd say 80 percent of the record is peculiar but still good, and 20 percent of it is classic like 'Everything's Electric.' If you're gonna do something a bit different, do it in these times and if people don't dig it, blame it on COVID.”
