PinkPantheress & WILLOW Team Up for New Song “Where you are”
London-based singer-songwriter PinkPantheress teamed up with American singer-songwriter WILLOW to release a new song “Where you are”.
This marks the first time PinkPantheress and WILLOW worked together.
PinkPantheress teased the song on social media back in January. She wrote, “I feel like Willow Smith needs to be on this. You have been heard, Da collaboration I dreamt of for years… brb crying.”
The pair co-wrote the song with British electronic music producer Mura Masa and American DJ Skrillex. Produced by Mura Masa, PinkPantheress and Skrillex.
PinkPantheress said of the song, “I had a lot of fun writing this song. It took loads of attempts to get it right but this is probably my proudest work to date, and I'm super happy for everyone to hear it.”
The track samples American rock band Paramore's 2005 “Never Let This Go”.
She told The Face about rock music for her, “I like being able to review things in hindsight, to catch up with things. I don't like having to wait for anything – 'What's coming out next?
