Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ modernlove. Releases New Song “Don't Wanna”
Irish alt-pop band modernlove., consisting of Barry Lally (vocals/guitar), Cian McCluskey (drums), Daniel Rooney (bass) and Graham Fagan (guitar), released a new song “Don't Wanna” along with a music video on April 5, 2022.
The song follows up “Follow You”, which was released back in February.
It was written and produced by Barry Lally, Cian McCluskey, Daniel Rooney and Graham Fagan. Co-produced by Tom Leach. The accompanying video was filmed by Joey Arnold.
modernlove. said of the song, “Don't Wanna is a song about desire. We've all had that weird feeling at some point where you can't decide whether you might be kinda into one of your close mates… It touches on the difficulty of navigating friendships and relationships as a young person when such passionate feelings and sex are involved.
