Khalid Releases New Mixtape “Scenic Drive (The Tape)”: Streaming
American singer-songwriter Khalid has released a new mixtape “Scenic Drive (The Tape)” via Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records.
It is his first project in two years since the 2019 album “Free Spirit”, and is also the release ahead of his upcoming third album “Everything Is Changing”.
Khalid shared on social media, “I'm always nervous to release new music but can honestly say this is a project I'll hold close to my heart forever.”
The mixtape comprises 9-track, featuring guest appearances from Alicia Keys, 6LACK, Quin, JID, Lucky Daye, Kiana Ledé, Smino, Majid Jordan, and Ari Lennox.
Khalid said of the EP, “After a break from making music — I'm excited to return joined by other artists that I respect and love. I am a really big believer in collaboration and 'Scenic Drive' to me represents me moving into a more mature direction with my sound.
