Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak's Silk Sonic Releases New Song “Smokin Out The Window”
American R&B superduo Silk Sonic, consisting of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, released a new song “Smokin Out The Window” on November 5, 2021.
The song is the third single off of their upcoming debut album “An Evening with Silk Sonic”, which is set to be released on November 12, 2021.
It was written by D'Mile, Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars.
The accompanying music video was directed by John Esparza and Bruno Mars.
The debut album comprises 12-track, produced by Bruno Mars and D'Mile.
Bruno Mars told Zane Lowe of Apple Music, “The album is rooted in [.Paak's] drum beats, and works backward from the guitar or piano whereas .Paak's music is percussion-driven, derived from old-school Motown influence.”
Also, he said to Rolling Stone, “I did the research to get the right things, down to the skins on Andy's drums. I've never realized till this album how much the right guitar pick matters. The right gauged strings. All this science kinda stuff.”- Photo by John Esparza
