Cocktail Slippers Releases New Song “Be The One”
Norwegian all-female rock band Cocktail Slippers, consisting of Hope (vocals), Vega (guitar), Rocket Queen (guitar), Sugar (bass) and Miss A-OK (drums), will release their upcoming fifth studio album “Shout It out Loud!” on September 17, 2017 via Wicked Cool Records.
It is their first album in seven years. The album was produced by Cocktail Slippers and co-produced by Steven Van Zandt and Mike Hartung.
From the album, the band unveiled a new song “Be The One” with accompanying music video.
The song is the fifth single off of the album, following “She Devil (Shout It Out Loud)”, “Night Train”, “Like A Song Stuck In My Head” and “City On Fire”.
Cocktail Slippers said of the song, “That feeling when you meet someone and you instantly think, 'This person is no good at all.' But then you get to know them and it turns out your first gut feeling was way off. 'It started out wrong but it turned out right.' The song is actually about falling in love – head over heels – when you weren't expecting that to happen at all.”- source : Spotify
