London-based singer-songwriter Izzy Bizu has unveiled a new song “Bizu Faded”, following the EP the EP “Glita” released last May.
The song will appear on her upcoming sophomore album. It is her first LP in four years. The track is like '80s disco sound vibe.
Izzy Bizu shared on social media, “I hope everyone is safe and well. I can’t believe I’m actually writing that the first single from the new album is coming out at midnight! I know it’s been a while and trust me it’s taken way longer than I thought but I’m so excited we are finally here. Wrote this when I was pretty down but always write something upbeat to cheer myself up ha. Faded is out at Midnight tonight. Big love xx”
Izzy Bizu made her recorded debut in 2011 as a member of the short-lived SoundGirl, and upon the group's breakup began her solo activity with “Coolbeanz” in 2013, an EP that led to a nomination in the BBC Sound of 2016 poll. She has since recorded for major-label Epic, where she made her full-length debut “A Moment of Madness” in 2016 and continued with an EP titled “Glita” in 2019.- source : Spotify
