Los Angeles-based alt-pop duo Moxi, consisting of Anna Nelson and Andy Toy, released a new song “Hush” on May 1st, following “Wolves” the release last October.
The emotive single was produced and co-written by Bobby Hartry and mixed by Bryan Cook.
Anna Toy said of the song in a press release, “Hush is about pain. Feeling it all, being here in the emotions and letting them come in and out. Pain can make you so present. The song is about feeling like you are losing your fucking mind, which I feel on a regular basis if I'm being honest.”
The vocals on the track use the vocoder like Imogen Heap's "Hide And Seek", and the song’s lush ethereal melodies meld together to build a new sound.- source : EARMILK
