Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Highasakite Releases New Mini Album “The Bare Romantic, Part 2”: Streaming
Norway alt-pop duo Highasakite, consisting of Ingrid Helene Håvik and Trond Bersu, released their new mini album “The Bare Romantic, Part 2” on February 7th via Propeller Recordings.
The album comprises of 4-track and is sequel to “The Bare Romantic, Part 1”, which was released last October.
Especially, the first single “Under The Sun” from the album was featured in Norwegian film “Tunellen”.
“While the writing and recording of ‘Uranium Heart’ were affected by external pressure and expectations, ‘The Bare Romantic’ came from our unwillingness to succumb to outside influences,” Ingrid Helene Håvik explained. “I felt the need to rediscover the joy of making new music again. We created a more relaxing studio environment, a safe space in which we had complete creative freedom, played all the instruments ourselves, cuddled with my baby Bjørn and walked on the beach during breaks”.
The duo will embark on a headline tour in support of the album in Europe. The tour kicks off at Scandic Meyergården in Mo I Rana, Norway on March 13th.
