Krewella Releases New Album “zer0”: Streaming
Los Angeles-based EDM duo Krewella released their sophomore album “zer0” on January 31st. It is their first LP in seven years.
The album features guest appearances from Nucleya, Arrested Youth, Asim Azhar and Alaya.
Originally, the duo planed to create a new EP called “New World Pt. II”, which was supposed to be followed 2017's EP “New World, Pt. 1”.
But they changed the plan. “We actually intended to create a New World Pt. II, but we ended up going above and beyond what a Pt. II EP would seem like. It felt like something bigger or more meaningful. We wanted to capture a deeper, more complicated and complex emotional, spiritual and cultural layers,” the duo said.
Krewella announced their first US tour in support of the album in nearly three years. “It's been almost 3 years since our last live headline North American tour and we're so excited to present the zer0 tour,” Krewella said. “Bringing an album to life on tour and experiencing how it resonates with the fans is always surreal for us. We've taken some time off the road in the past couple of years to focus on re-balancing ourselves, self-reflecting, and exploring our creativity in new ways, so we are ready to hit the road again bring a more evolved version of ourselves to our Krew!”
The tour kicks off at Big Night Live in Boston on April 23rd. Learn more about tour dates, click here.- source : DJ Times
