Michael Malarkey Releases New Song “Graveracer”
- British-American actor Michael Malarkey, who is best known for playing the role of Enzo in the series “The Vampire Diaries”, has released a new song “Graveracer”.
The song was accompanied by a music video, filmed and edited by Leo Taylor. The video features tour footage during 2018 Mongrels European tour dates.
He wrote the song in Puerto Rico during Hurricane Maria, whilst he was filming the 50 Cent-produced crime drama The Oath.
The track will appear on his upcoming third studio album of the same title which is his first LP in three years.
Michael Malarkey said, “During the time I was working on the record, I escaped two hurricanes - as well as a third, I suppose, my own personal one. This record is my Odyssey in a way. It’s the journey back home after being ravaged in the seas of your own mind and finding the strength to carry on after the storm. I was left with a feeling of freedom and I found it through these songs. The opening track to the record, ‘Graveracer’, is the hearthstone of this journey. The road may be dark, but the night is full of stars.”
- The new album is set to be released on January 10, 2020. Also he will embark on a headline tour in the UK and Europe with beginning at Manchester’s Deaf Institute on January 9, 2020.
