Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Lauv Teams Up With LANY for New Song “Meant It”
American singer-songwriter Lauv recruited Los Angeles-based alt-pop band LANY for a new song “Meant It”.
This marks the first time Lauv and LANY worked together.
A couple days ago, LANY teased song on Twitter, “the only collab that matters lol “mean it” w our boy @lauvsongs nov 14 xx”.
The track will appear on Lauv's upcoming debut studio album “How I'm Feeling“, which is set to be released on March 6, 2020. It was written by Michael Pollack, Michael Matosic, Jordan Palmer, John Hill, Paul Klein and Lauv.
The album features guest appearances from Anne-Marie, Troye Sivan and LANY.
Lauv commented on the album concept, “~how i’m feeling~ is all about embracing personality and all its different aspects. the idea that we are not *one thing* and in fact we can be many different things on many different days. born out of a crisis of “who am i?”, i created 6 different characters: purple (existential lauv), blue (hopeless romantic lauv), green (goofy lauv), yellow (positive lauv), orange (fuckboy lauv), and red (spicy lauv)”- source : Spotify
