Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Bon Iver Unveils Two New Songs “Hey, Ma” & “U (Man Like)”
American alt-folk band Bon Iver is back. The band has unveiled two new songs “Hey, Ma” and “U (Man Like)” alongside lyric videos and announced an upcoming North American tour this fall which will begin in late August and run through October.
Both songs are taken from their upcoming fourth studio album “iCOMMAi”. They are the band's first music in three years.
The band first performed two songs at All Points East Festival 2019 on June 2nd.
“Hey, Ma”'s lyric video shows home videos of a young Vernon with his family, and Wasner, Jake Luppen (Hippo Campus) and longtime collaborator Brad Cook (Megafaun, DeYarmond Edison) are some of the featured players on the single.
“U (Man Like)” features guest vocals from American singer-songwriter Moses Sumney, Bruce Hornsby, Elsa Jensen, Jenn Wasner & the Brooklyn Youth Chorus.
"This project began with a single person," Justin Vernon said of the songs. "But throughout the last 11 years, the identity of Bon Iver has bloomed and can only be defined by the faces in the ever growing family we are."- HDAKS18Gv1U
