Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Lauren Silva, aka Monti has released her debut EP “This is for You” on May 9th.
The EP comprises of 5-track, featuring guest appearance from Los Angeles-based singer Josh Stevens, co-written and produced by Josh Stevens.
The EP opens with "Cowards Castle", which is '90s rock sound along with powerful electric guitar. Also the song was released as the first single in 2018. She said of the song, “As the relationship kept getting more and more unbalanced I realized my partner had started to build a castle around his emotions, and wore his cowardly crown proudly as he allowed his fears to push me and love further and further away metaphorically speaking.”
The second track "Echo", in which she performed with Josh Stevens. R&B track "Shadow" preceded the EP as the second single on May 7th.
An electro-pop number "Hurt" is comfortable rhythmic sound. The final track "Super Hero" is rock sound with her soulful vocals of the same as the first track "Cowards Castle".
