Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Quinn XCII Premieres New Animated Music Video for “U & Us”
Detroit-based singer-songwriter Mikael Temrowski aka Quinn XCII released his sophomore album “From Michigan with Love” on February 15, 2019.
From the album, he has shared a new animated music video for “U & Us”, animated and directed by Claire Schmitt.
The track was written by Quinn XCII, Imad Royal, Rogét Chahayed, gnash and Grant Yarber. "You and Us" is more acoustic, singer-songwriter folk sound.
He said, "It's one of my favorites on there called "You and Us" which is more acoustic, singer-songwriter folk sound. With this album, I'm trying to push my boundaries a bit more. Honestly all of it I'm really into. I think I'm taking the next step forward with the stuff I want to make. I feel like I am progressing as an artist with this entire album. "- BnOaL4PFSL8
The album comprises of 12-track and features guest appearances from Elohim, Yoshi Flower, Noah Kahan, Ashe and Louis Futon.
He wrote about the album on Facebook, "I proudly give you my sophomore album, From Michigan With Love. This project took the last year and a half to make and was the most challenging body of work for me to ever finish. There’s so many people who had a hand in helping me get this thing over the finish line so to everyone who was apart of this process i want to give you all my deepest thanks. Thank you to my family and friends for your continued support of my dream as a musician."
He will embark on From Tour With Love in support of the album in North America through to April. The tour kicks off at Old National Centre in Indianapolis on February 19, 2019.
