British singer-songwriter Sade has unveiled a new song “The Big Unknown” from the upcoming Steve McQueen-directed film "Widows". The song is featured in the end credits of the film.
Back in March, Sade joined in Disney film "A Wrinkle In Time" soundtrack, in which she performed "Flower of the Universe".
The new song is her second single of the soundtrack this year.
“It was an honor to work with such a legend,” Steve McQueen said in a statement. “Sade is an incomparable talent and incredible artist who so rarely releases new material, but luckily the original series of Widows had deeply resonated with her.”
The film "Widows" is based on the 1983 ITV series of the same name. The film was directed by Steve McQueen, starring Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Cynthia Erivo, Colin Farrell, Brian Tyree Henry, Daniel Kaluuya, Jacki Weaver, Carrie Coon, Robert Duvall, and Liam Neeson.
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2018.
The film was released in the United Kingdom on November 6th and is scheduled to be in the United States on November 16th.- H4H9T3iFfWg
