American singer-songwriter Calvin Arsenia has dropped a new music video for “Headlights” featuring Jametatone. The video was premiered exclusively on Pride.com and Atwood Magazine.
Alison Claire Peck directed the video, in which Calvin Arsenia and his friends drive a car and go to night club party of LGBTQ. The video was filmed in Calvin’s hometown of Kansas City.
“‘Headlights’ is a response to being raised in a culture where I was taught to wait for and expect picturesque love and romance as a prerequisite to beginning a happy life,” Calvin Arsenia told Atwood Magazine. “In contrast, as a millennial I was simultaneously made to believe that I have my whole life ahead of me and I shouldn’t be too quick to make decisions – I should prefer skepticism.”
The track blends his smooth vocals with jazz and electronic music including his Celtic harp solo, as well as Jametatone's rap.
The song will appear on his upcoming third studio album "Cantaloupe", which is set to be released in October 2018, following his sophomore album "Catastrophe" the release in 2017.
Also, he performed the new album at The Gem Theater on September 15th.- source : Atwood Magazine
