Barrie Premieres New Song “Michigan” on Apple Beats 1
Brooklyn-based alt-pop band Barrie will release a debut EP "Singles" on October 12, 2018. The EP follows up their debut album "The Toft Album" the release in 2017.
The band premiered a new song “Michigan” from the EP on Matt Wilkinson's Beats 1 radio show.
Barrie has already released two songs "Canyons” and “Tal Uno” from the EP.
“Michigan” features smooth vocals, synth and soft guitars, like '80s pop.
Barrie is composed of Barrie Lindsay (lead vocals, guitar), Dom (drums), Noah (guitar, synth), Sabine (bass), and Spurge (keyboards). Each member is coming from Baltimore, Boston, São Paulo, London, and Upstate New York.
Previously, lead songwriter Barrie Lindsay worked as a studio assistant for a sculptor, while Spurge and Noah work at The Lot Radio, online radio station, where the three met through a mutual friend and connected with their drummer Dom. They recruited Sabine, who coming from from Brazil via Berlin, as bassist. Then they started as Barrie.
