Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ SWAY Premieres New Music Video for “Naturally”
Los Angeles-based alt-pop band SWAY has dropped a new music video for “Naturally” directed by Mailson Soares.
The song is their second single of the 2018, following the debut song “Dive”. The sound is radio-friendly modern '80s pop.
Frontman Freddy Hale said of the song;
“Everybody has been through rough relationships at some point, and I know heartbreak all too well. In this song, I talk about letting go of my need to control everything, and instead just letting things move organically. In the past, my low self-confidence might have made me feel like I only deserved the love I could get, so I’m talking about not forcing myself to feel anything for somebody just because I’m afraid I can’t find love that easy.”
The clip is following four girls playing in a retro amusement park in California. The band members appear on the video as the amusement park staffs.
Bassist Daniel Juter stated about the video;
“We had such a blast shooting the ‘Naturally’ video with the girls! We wanted them to look just like us, so we outfitted them with some (fake) tattoos that perfectly matched our own. It was so fun painting on everyone and I was impressed at how great they turned out!”
A director Mailson Soares, who created the video for their debut song as well.- SWAY was formed in 2016 and consists of Freddy Hale (lead vocals), Niklas Myrback (guitar), Daniel Juter (bass) and Cadu CJ (drums).
The sound is modern '80s synth pop in a wave of upbeat. The group is set to release three singles in 2018, as well as Part One of their debut album this fall. The album will be complete with Part 2 in January 2019. - source : New Noise Magazine
