Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Greta Van Fleet Premieres New Music Video for “When The Curtain Falls”
Last month, American rock band Greta Van Fleet released “When The Curtain Falls” as the first single off of their forthcoming as-yet-untitled debut studio album, which still doesn’t have a set release date.
On August 15th, the band dropped a music video for the song, directed by Benjamin Kutsko.
In the clip, the band performs in a hallucinogenic landscape such as burning trees, rocky hillsides and eclipses like a desert LSD trip.
The album follows up their two 2017 EPs "Black Smoke Rising" and "From the Fires".
The band's sound is influenced by late '60s british rock like Led Zeppelin and Cream.
Frontman Josh Kizska said in a interview with Rolling Stone, “Rock & roll to us is liberation. A reminder that we as human beings have a voice. But I don’t want people to hear me talking about rock & roll and think I mean the kind of shit they’re putting out now.”- Greta Van Fleet is composed of vocalist Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka, bassist Sam Kiszka, and drummer Danny Wagner.
The band are currently touring in North America, Europe and the UK.
