Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez has shared a new song “Sola” as the third single of the 2018 following “Apple Juice”.
The track was written by Claudia Brant and Jessie Reyez in Spanish. It is her first Spanish single.
She said, “I hope you like it, and since you say I don’t speak enough Spanish, here it is, carajo.”
Th song is ballad with an acoustic melody.
She wrote about the song on Instagram;
“Some people don’t know but Spanish is my first language. Since my schooling was in Canada, my brain has always been kinda mixed up when I write because of it (among other reasons lol). I’ve always felt like I have two hearts and two voices…triple the amount of anxiety. I’m nervous as hell.”- Recently, she finished up "Halsey: hopeless fountain kingdom" tour and performed at 2018 Lollapalooza in Chicago.
She will appear on several festivals this fall, such as Made In America Festival on September 1st, ONE Musicfest on September 8th, Rifflandia 2018 on September 13th and All Things Go Fall Classic 2018 on October 6th.
