American rapper Chance the Rapper has just surprised to release four new songs via SoundCloud.
The songs are “Work Out”, “65th & Ingleside”, “I Might Need Security” and “Wala Cam” featuring Supa Bwe & Forever Band.
He said he would be releasing a new album before Saturday, when he performs at the Special Olympics concert in his hometown of Chicago.
But he rescinded it via tweet, “Sorry no album this week, def been in the stu tho”. Instead, he offered up about an EP’s worth of tracks.
Earlier this month, he told Windy City Live that he is working on his full-length album with Kanye West in Chicago.
He said, “I bought the Chicagoist just to run you racist bitches outta business. I’m extremely excited to be continuing the work of the Chicagoist, an integral local platform for Chicago news, events and entertainmen. I look forward to re-launching it and bringing the people of Chicago an independent media outlet focused on amplifying diverse voices and content.”
