Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Charles Fauna has delivered a new song “Wait to Come Over” via SoundCloud. The song was premiered exclusively on Billboard.
The track is second single off of his forthcoming debut EP "Eulogy", which is set to be released on August 17th.
The EP comprises of 7-track, the first single "Another Good Person" was released on March 9th. The EP is inspired by his experience witnessing a man die in a hit and run on his street in early 2017. It is available to preorder here.
After studying sociology at New York University Charles Fauna moved to Brooklyn to begin a career as a songwriter. Since then, he has created the songs for television and film.
His sound is euphoric, colorful, alt-pop which delves into themes like death, anxiety, loneliness and existentialism.
Charles Fauna told Billboard about the song;
“The speaker of this song is someone whose grasp on everyday life has been suddenly shattered. People who were once a source of love and support become decontextualized as fragile, fickle, and potentially devastating losses. In this song loved ones are pushed away out of necessity as the speaker (and listener) begins a journey to understand the beauty of impermanence, and the power of human connection.”-
