Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Little Big Town Premieres New Song “Summer Fever”
American country music group Little Big Town performed a new song “Summer Fever” at 2018 CMT Music Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
This marks their first time live performance for the song.
It was written by Karen Fairchild, RØMANS, Cary Barlowe and Jesse Frasure. The song will appear on their upcoming ninth untitled album.
The track is similar to Robin Schulz & David Guetta's "Shed A Light".
Group singer Karen Fairchild said of the song;
“Jesse had a really cool track, and we were talking about writing something fun for the summer. All I remember is that we had the first few lines and then Cary Barlowe goes, ‘We’re about to float that Malibu with that flip-flop attitude.’ We were like, ‘Yes! That’s it.’ We just built towards the chorus, and we kept fine-tuning it. We want to see people dance on this song because it was so much fun to write.”- YXUq5f8f5fc
