Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ BlckBx Premieres New Song “MGNTK” on SoundCloud
Los Angeles-based Baile Funk duo BlckBx, consisting of Maite Francois and Richard Wayne, has delivered a new song “MGNTK” via SoundCloud. The song follows up “SLOMO” and “GRL”.
The duo wrote the song 7 months ago, and debuted it on their tour. But this time, they revealed it online.
The sound is based on acoustic guitar, but middle of the song added rhythm sections with a beat, and vocals. Also, jazz chords is an accent on ending.
The duo will perform live at The Study Hollywood along with PLNT9, JENNA Nation and Blind Octavius on May 9th.

The duo said of the song;
"Long nights on tour and in the studio added up to some pretty big bags under our eyes. Not literally (except for Richard probably), but we realized that we were drawn to the entire process to such an extent that we’d rather do it all night than even entertain the idea of sleep. MGNTK was about our draw to all this music-ing and just having a good time. We didn’t think about it too hard, we just wanted a song that felt like the wave and vibe we were riding at the time."- source : Too Good Music
