American hip hop recording artist J. Cole premiered a new music video for “Kevin's Heart”. The track appears on his fifth studio album "KOD", which was released on April 20, 2018.
In the video, African-American comedian/actor Kevin Hart plays himself. Co-directed by J. Cole and Scott Lazer.
The clip boasts a quietly comedic tone that builds to a big laugh when Hart receives a simple life lesson from a stranger in the bathroom.
After the man puts a compassionate hand on Hart's shoulder, the comedian considers his advice for a moment before cracking, "He didn't wash his hands. I got dick hands on my jacket now."
The song was written by J. Cole and produced by T-Minus and Mark Pelli.
The new album broke streaming records on both Spotify and Apple Music. It accrued a total of 64.5 million streams on Apple Music and achieved 36.7 million streams on Spotify.-
