Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Dillon Francis Premieres New Music Video for “We The Funk” featuring Fuego
Los Angeles-based DJ Dillon Francis has delivered a new song "We The Funk" via SoundCloud. This time, he teamed up Miami-based singer Fuego.
The accompanying music video was premiered on February 21, directed by Erik Rojas, filming in Los Angeles.
The song follows up "Ven" with Arcangel and Quimico Ultra Mega, both songs are included on his Latin-inspired Spanish-language album, which is expected to be released later this year.
About the song, he stated in a press release;
"I've been really focused on having fun while making music. Fuego is a fun dude, so when we cut the song in Mexico, all the pieces fell together pretty quickly from there."
Director Erik Rojas explained the music video;
"When I first heard 'We the Funk,' I immediately envisioned colors, dancing and fun. I'm Colombian, and grew up surrounded by Latin music and culture, so I really wanted to channel that amazing vibrance into this piece. Dillon and Fuego were incredible to work with, and their energy really allowed us to make something super rad."- source : Billboard
