American rapper Remy Ma teamed up with American singer-songwriter Chris Brown on a new song “Melanin Magic (Pretty Brown)”.
The song is secondsingle off of her upcoming sphomore album "Seven Winters, Six Summers". It was written by Chris Brown and Remy Ma.
The track samples form Mint Condition’s “Breakin’ My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)”, which was released in 1991, peaking at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1992.
The new album will be released later this year. The first single "Wake Me Up" with Lil' Kim was issued last November.
About the song, she posted to Instagram;
“I just wanted to make something to let people know that you’re beautiful, you’re pretty. You can be brown skin, dark skin, light skinned. None of that is what makes you pretty or beautiful. It’s what’s inside.”-
