New York-based independent band The Racer delivered a new song “Isolation” via SoundCloud. It was written and produced by The Racer. Also the band shared acoustic version of "Apogee" on SoundCloud.
The song follows up "Skeptic", "Spiral Staircase" and "Apogee".
In fact, surprised when we heard their new song for the first time, it's so beautiful and reminds us of Thirty Seconds to Mars and M83. Their sound is cinematic and visualized.
The Racer was formed in 2010, consisting of Pete Marotta (vocals, keys), Mike Esserman (guitar, keys), Steve Kondracki (guitar, keys), Eric Sosler (bass, keys), and Mike Perri (drums, percussion).
The band released a debut album "Strangers We’ll Become" in 2010, followed by releasing sophomore album "Passengers" in 2013. They have graced the stage at Milwaukee's Summerfest, Austin's SXSW, and Albany’s MOVE Music Fest.
Their third studio album "GIANT", produced by Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra), was funded by Kickstarter in 2016.
In 2017, the band released "Skeptic", "Spiral Staircase" and "Apogee". The music videos for "Apogee" and "Spiral Staircase" were premiered on October 5 and December 2, respectively.- pKQLdYKJno4
