NYC/London-based prog-metal band Ascending Dawn has released a debut album "Coalesce", produced by Jochem Jacobs, Owen Rees and Mark Weatherley.
All songs were written by Marlain Angelides and Mark Weatherley. Originally, the album was released in 2014. But this time, the band re-released as the debut album including 9-track in the US.
From the album, "All In Now", “Cannonball” and "Inside The Silence" with the music video were already released.
The album has melodic ambient sections with heavy and groovy sonic rhythmic sound.
Ascending Dawn was formed in London, UK in 2013, consisting of Marlain Angelides (Vocals), Mark Weatherley (Drums/Guitar), Owen Rees (Guitar) and Jennifer Fletcher (Bass). Jennifer Fletcher left the band in 2014.
In 2017, prog-metal music is lively, Evanescence comes back and released a new album "Synthesis", also PVRIS released their sophomore album "All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell".
Ascending Dawn follows them and showcased very strong album “Coalesce” in the end of 2017.- source : The Metal Nexus
