American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift appeared on Saturday Night Live, where she performed her latest song "Ready For It?" and "Call It What You Want".
This marks the third time Swift has been the musical performer on Saturday Night Live. And she performed both songs for the first time on TV.
"Ready For It?" was released on October 24th from her sixth studio album "Reputation". The song was written by Taylor Swift, Max Martin, Shellback and Ali Payami. The track reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and number 14 and 16 on the Adult Top 40 and Mainstream Top 40 charts, respectively. The sci-fi-looking video features references to such films as Species, Tron, Ghost In The Shell, and Blade Runner, among others.
"Call It What You Want" was released as a promotional single from the new album on November 3rd. It was written by Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff.
The song was made with an MPC, Jack Antonoff said, "'Call It What You Want' was "made with an MPC, live kick, dx7 strings and samples of taylor's voice as the intro and throughout. love making her voice into an instrument."
