  • Kensington Premieres New Music Video for “Fiji”

  • Last year, Dutch indie rock band Kensington released their fourth studio album "Control", which reached number one on the Netherlands Albums chart.

On August 21, 2017, the band premiered a new music video for "Fiji" from the new album. Directed by Boris Booij, starring Martin Van Geems and Fiona Tyrell.
The song was released in October 2016. From the album, in addition to "Fiji", three songs were already released such as "Do I Ever", "Sorry" and "Bridges".
The video reminds us of 1984's film "Splash", directed by Ron Howard, starring Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah.
  • Kensington was formed in Utrecht in 2005, currently consisting member of Eloi Youssef (lead vocals, guitar, keys), Casper Starreveld (guitar, vocals, keys), Jan Haker (bass guitar, keys, backing vocals) and Niles Vandenberg (drums).
The band debuted with their first EP "An Introduction To..." in 2006. Since then, the group has released more two EP "Kensington" and "Youth".
In 2010, their debit album "Borders" was released via Bladehammer label. After the debut album, they released three album "Vultures" (2012), "Rivals" (2014) and "Control" (2016) through Universal label. The band earned plenty of awards over the next year, both with MTV Europe and the Dutch 3FM awards.
