- Rock Legend Steve Winwood and his daughter Lilly Winwood appeared on BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show session, where they performed "Higher Love".
The song was released in 1986 and was the first single released from his fourth solo album "Back in the High Life". Original version, Chaka Khan performed as backing vocals.
The music video was directed by Peter Kagan and Paula Greif. On the video, Nile Rodgers played guitar with the backing band, off course Chaka Khan appeared too.
The track reached number one at Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart. Also he earned for Record of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at Grammy Awards with the song.
Lilly Winwood's version was released in 2016, along with Steve Winwood, and used in the My Dad Hershey's commercial.
Steve Winwood is known as a key member of The Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith and Go. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Traffic in 2004.
To date, he has released nine studio albums, two live albums, six compilation albums, and twenty five singles. He has won two Grammy Awards.
