Ed Sheeran Performs “Shape Of You” as One-Man-Band on Today Show
English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran appeared on Today Show, where he performed latest smash hit "Shape Of You" and other songs "Galway Girl", "Castle On the Hill", "Supermarket Flowers".
All songs are included on his third studio album "÷ (Divide)", which was released in March 2017.
"Shape Of You" was releaesd on January 6 and written by Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid, Kandi Burruss, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, and Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs. The music video, directed by Jason Koenig, stars American dancer and model Jennie Pegouskie and retired professional sumo wrestler Yamamotoyama Ryūta. The song reached bumber one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart.
"Galway Girl" is a collaboration between Sheeran and the Irish folk band Beoga. The music video features Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, filmed by himself on a body-mounted Steadicam.
"Castle On the Hill" was relased as one of the double lead singles along with "Shape Of You". It was written and produced by Ed Sheeran and Benny Blanco.
"Supermarket Flowers" is a promotional single. The song was written about his late grandmother, who passed away in a hospital near his house while he was in the studio.- source : Today Show
