Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Saint Clair Premieres Mew Song “Train” on SoundCloud
London-based singer-songwriter Emma Topolski, aka Saint Clair has delivered a new song "Train" via SoundCloud.
The song is taken from her upcoming debut EP "D1" and produced by Ben Jones, who co-wrote her debut song "Sailing".
To date, Saint Clair worked with lots of different artists as a session musician. Especially, she is known as back-up vocals in English folk singer-songwriter Laura Marling's live show. Also, she worked with Ghostpoet and Kwab in the past.
She debuted with "Sailing" in 2016. Afterward, she has released "Heavy On My Heart" and "Simmer".
Her music is influenced from Jazz, soul music and R&B. Before, she explained about how song writing, "I normally write on the piano, so starting with just a melody and bass line instead forces you to strip the song back to it’s most basic form and pulls your ear in a different direction."
The debut EP is due out on May 5th via her own label Dearly Beloved.- source : DIY
