Helsinki-based electro-pop duo White Balance has released a new song "Girl". The song was premiered exclusively on The Line Of Best Fit on March 2.
The track is taken from their forthcoming debut album (yet-untitled), which is expected to be released later in 2017.
Last year, the duo already released "Hunter" and "Home" from the debut album.
White Balance formed by a vocalist Maaria Nuoranne and a producer Ilari Heinilä. They started to create the music at the age of 15 together via MSN Messenger conversations. Their music is influenced from Imogen Heap, The Knife and Emancipator.
About the song, Maaria Nuoranne explained;
"Writing this piece I felt like I was writing a letter to my younger self. It took so much courage to trust your own choices and choose your own path back then. And it's still not simple, as we're surrounded by all kind of voices telling us what to do. It's important to isolate your own voice from that racket. The new single is an anthem dedicated to all of you who, despite struggling, have the courage to trust your instincts."- source : The Line Of Best Fit
