Annapurna Pictures has premiered the official trailer for “Destroyer” online.
The film was directed by Karyn Kusama, who has directed "Girlfight" (2000: starring Michelle Rodriguez), "Æon Flux" (2005: starring Charlize Theron) and "Jennifer's Body" (2009: starring Megan Fox), so far.
This time, she has worked with Nicole Kidman on “Destroyer”.
Nicole Kidman played as a veteran LAPD detective Erin Bell, who was placed undercover with a gang in the California desert with tragic results when she was a young cop. But when the leader of that gang re-emerges many years later, she decided to work her way back through the remaining members again.
On this film, Nicole Kidman used heavy make-up since her 2002 Academy Awards film "The Hours" and co-starred with Toby Kebbell, Tatiana Maslany, Scoot McNairy, Bradley Whitford, and Sebastian Stan.
"Destroyer" was premiered at the Telluride Film Festival back in August and screened at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. It will screen at AFI Fest on November 13, 2018.
