On August 15, English actor Daniel Craig appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he has confirmed that he will return to the role of James Bond.
Before, Time Out magazine asked him about the next James Bond's film in an interview, Daniel Craig answered "Now? I’d rather … slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on."
This time, Stephen Colbert asked him again, "Daniel Craig, will you return as James Bond?"
Daniel Craig answered quickly, "Yes."
He continued, "I couldn't be happier. I have to apologise to all the people I've done interviews today because I wanted to tell you. It's been a couple of months and we've been discussing it and trying to figure it out. I always wanted to [come back]. I [just] needed a break. I think this is it. I just want to go out on a high note and I can’t wait."
He explained about previous interview at the time, "Look, there's no point in making excuses about it, but it was two days after I'd finished shooting the last movie. I went straight into an interview and someone said would you do another one and I went 'No!' And instead of saying something with style and grace I gave a really stupid answer."
Daniel Craig's next film is "Logan Lucky", which was directed by Steven Soderbergh, starring Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Hilary Swank and Katie Holmes. He has played blond thief Joe Bang in the film.
