American actor John Carroll Lynch made a feature directorial debut in spiritual journey film "Lucky". The film stars Harry Dean Stanton, David Lynch, Ron Livingston and Ed Begley Jr.
"Lucky" follows the spiritual journey of a 90-year-old atheist and the quirky characters that inhabit his off the map desert town. Having out lived and out smoked all of his contemporaries, the fiercely independent Lucky finds himself at the precipice of life, thrust into a journey of self exploration, leading towards that which is so often unattainable: enlightenment.
John Carroll Lynch is better known for acting from "Shutter Island", "Ted 2", "The Invitation" and "Zodiac". Most recently, he portrayed McDonald's co-founder Maurice "Mac" McDonald in The Founder.
The film was nominated for Best Narrative Feature at Oak Cliff Film Festival and SXSW Adam Yauch Hörnblowér Award at SXSW Film Festival in 2017.
The film will be released in select theaters starting on September 29th this fall.- Title:
