Warner Bros. Pictures unveiled the official trailer for “Blade Runner 2049” directed by Denis Villeneuve. The film stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Jared Leto, Ana de Armas, Dave Bautista and Robin Wright. Written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green.
This film is sequel to "Blade Runner", which was released in 1982, directed by Ridley Scott. This time, Ridley Scott joined in the film as an executive producer.
The filmmaker Denis Villeneuve created the film "Arrival" in 2016, which won Best Achievement in Sound Editing at Academy Awards 2017. Also he created the film "Sicario" in 2015, which was nominated three categories at Oscar.
The story is thirty years after the events of the first film. LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling) tried to find out Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years. Because, he discovered a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos.
Ryan Gosling confirmed his casting in November 2015, Jared Leto was added to the cast in August 2016. Principal photography began in July 2016 and was filming in Budapest, Hungary.
