American alt-rock band The Neighbourhood returned with a new song “Fallen Star” on October 1, 2021.
The band teased the song in 2020. The song is their first single since the 2020 fourth studio album “Chip Chrome & the Mono-Tones”.
The track was written by Brandon Fried, Cole Carmody, Danny Parra, Jeremiah Freedman, Jesse James Rutherford, Lewis Hughes, Michael Margott, Nick Audino, Sean Dwyer and Zachary Abels. Produced by Danny Parra and Jesse Rutherford.
Originally, the song title was “Further Apart”. The Neighbourhood shared on social media, “✨ this track was originally called “Further Apart” but after a snippet of it started floating around the internet, it was re-named “Fallen Star” by our passionate fans. so to anyone who has been asking for this song, i hope you are listening to it today & understanding that you really made this happen. thank you for your continued support through the past couple years ✨”
The Neighbourhood embarks on Europian Tour 2022. The tour kicks off at Adrenaline Stadium in Moscow, Russian on September 23, 2022 and will conclude at O2 Victoria Warehouse in Stretford, UK on October 26, 2022.
