Miles Kane Releases New Song “Caroline” from New Album “Change The Show”
- Back in August, British singer-songwriter Miles Kane announced his fourth solo album “Change The Show” would be released on January 21, 2022 via BMG Records. It is his first album in four years.
From the album, he unveiled the second single called “Caroline” on September 24th, following “Don’t Let It Get You Down”.
It was written by Miles Kane and Jamie Biles. Produced by David Bardon and Oscar Robertson.
Miles Kane said of the song, “‘Caroline’ is a song about reaching out to someone to tell them they are special and loved. It’s so important for us to communicate with each other at the good and the bad times, even when it’s hard to do so.”
The album comprises of 11-track, featuring guest appearance from Corinne Bailey Rae.
He worked for the album amid the coronavirus crisis throughout the last 18 months.
“This album was born out of an intense period of self-reflection; having all this unexpected time on my hands,” he explained of the album. “I wrote songs about big highs, big lows, daydreams, true friends and deep feelings. I learnt to let the future unfold of its own accord, while staying true to myself and that has led to what feels to me like a really uplifting album!”
