American singer-songwriter Skylar Grey unveiled a new song “Partly Cloudy With A Chance Of Tears”.
The song is the title track of her upcoming fourth studio album and is the first single off.
It was written and produced by Skylar Grey.
Back in 2019, she left Interscope Records, started making her fourth studio album “Angel with Tattoos” as an independent artist. But “Angel with Tattoos” was released as the EP “Make It Through The Day” in October 2019.
She announced her fourth studio album would title “Dark Thoughts” in 2020. But the project eventually got scrapped, she started working on the new album “Partly Cloudy With a Chance Of Tears” this year.
The new album comprises of 11-track. Back in April, she scrapped the cover artwork for the album.
Because she's worried people will accuse her of copying Billie Eilish's album cover.
She shared on social media, "I just saw Billie Eilish posted her album cover (which is dope and I'm excited) but I figured I better ditch mine or people will think I copied her. So here it is so my [fam] can at least see what we made. Oh well. Back to the drawing board."
