Los Angeles-based DJ DallasK teamed up with American singer-songwriter Lauv again to release a new song “Try Again”.
It is their first collaboration since Lauv's 2020 fourth EP “Without You”, which was produced by DallasK.
The new song was written by Michael Pollack, Lauv and DallasK. Produced by DallasK.
DallasK said of the song, “'Try Again' is actually the first dance record Lauv and I made together and it was super fun to create a unique record that encompasses both of our styles and influences.”
The song was written in an informal 2016 recording session. “Several months later, Lauv's artist project started to grow rapidly and he was suddenly on tour with Ed Sheeran and playing all around the world,” DallasK recalled. “We continued to work on his albums but 'Try Again' was always a favorite of ours that had gotten seemingly lost in the shuffle. Then we finished the record on a trip to Mexico for New Year's and that's the version you hear today!”
Lauv added, “Me and Dally made this song a couple years ago and we came back to it during quarantine and now we ready to put 'er out into the world.”- source : Spotify
