American singer-songwriter Ava Max has shared a new music video for “EveryTime I Cry”.
She co-directed the video with Charlotte Rutherford.
Ava Max said of the video, “This video demonstrates power within vulnerability. I wanted to tell a story that has the viewer watch me turn weakness into strength.”
The song was released back in June. It was written by Caroline Pennell, Ava Max, Lauren Aquilina, Sean Myer and Cirkut.
She told Zane Lowe in Apple Music, “'EveryTime I Cry' is really just about seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and every tear you shed, it makes you also appreciate the good times, and it makes you feel like, “Okay, I deserve to be here, I’ve gone through the struggles and I feel like I learned something.” I think the message of the song is super important for everybody going through hard times.”- CFMz9DOhaJ8
