Swedish DJ trio Swedish House Mafia, consisting of Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello, released their second comeback single “Lifetime” on July 19, 2021.
This time, the trio teamed up with American rapper Ty Dolla $ign and New Jersey hip hop singer 070 Shake on the track.
The song will appear on their upcoming third studio album Paradise Again", which is their first album in nine years.
The track interpolates A$AP Rocky's “Bamba”. It was written by A$AP Rocky, Vincent Pontare, Carl Nordström, 070 Shake, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell.
The accompanying music video was directed by Alexander Wessely, who also directed previous song.
“It's 100% feel,” Steve Angello said of the new single in an interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1. “I think this was the time where we sat down and we were just throwing ideas at each other of what kind of music we like, and this is boiling everything down to like, 'What did we feel?' We came to a place, especially with this song, you feel great. It's like, listen to the song, put on headphones, be in the subway, drive a car, go on a fucking walk. Do whatever you want. This is going to make... it's feels.”
