Montreal-based producer Moe Chaieb released his debut EP “Here You Can Leave Me” on March 25, 2021.
The EP comprises of 6-track, featuring guest appearances from Claire Ridgely, wordsbyjuni and Akacia.
Entirely self-produced by myself from the comfort of his home studio in Montreal, the EP tells the story of a person coming to terms with their inner fear of uncertainty and of the unknown.
His visual art inspired by Swiss modernist graphic designers, such as Odermatt, Tissi and Brockmann, as well as leaders in the Light and Space movement, like James Turrell.
The EP will be accompanied by a short film “Here You Can Leave Me” written, produced and directed by Moe Chaieb. It will be premiered soon.- Moe Chaieb explained track-by-track for the EP.

“Akacia describes her infatuation with a lover and her struggles with staying present and in the moment.”

“The song is an ode to letting go. Its message is to release your inhibitions with that special someone, even if it’s just for a night.”

“For You is about letting go of a lover to whom you’ve given a lot of yourself. It builds on the theme of letting go.”
